The Humanitarian Response Roster
The Humanitarian Response Roster (formerly the Member Roster) has been operating since 1991 and is comprised of more than 600 highly qualified experts, representing more than 70 nationalities with a variety of professional profiles and experiences.
We are open for recruitment now – deadline is 1st February 2023.
Common to all members of the DRC Standby Roster is that they are committed, professional and high-performing humanitarian workers ready to deploy to UN operations worldwide. The DRC Humanitarian Response Roster represents a broad variety of competencies, however with special focus on the following technical areas (profiles):
- Protection (including Child Protection, GBV and PSEA)
- Humanitarian Affairs
- Emergency Management
- Camp Coordination and Camp Management
- Shelter & Site Planning
- Information Management
- Cash & Voucher
- Cluster Coordination

Funding and UN partners
The Humanitarian Response Roster is funded by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Development Agency, Danida, and forms part of the Danish International Humanitarian Rosters, which consists of Rosters managed by DRC, Danish Red Cross, and Danish Médecins Sans Frontiéres (MSF). The Humanitarian Response Roster deployments are also financed by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, FCDO. The Humanitarian Response Roster supports several UN organizations. Currently, our partnership agreements are with UNHCR, WFP, OCHA, UNICEF, UNFPA, UNDP, FAO, and IOM.
