Training Associate for the ASPIRE Project

The Danish Refugee Council HQ is looking for a consultant to prepare, design and facilitate trainings on ethnographic methodology for field-based researchers in Uganda and Kenya. By the end of the training, the field researchers should be familiar with intermediate level concepts of ethnography and ethnographic methodology including participant observation, writing, managing and sharing ethnographic field notes, open-ended interview techniques and reflecting on the ethnographic data, with a focus on long term cases.

The consultant will be required to develop a report based on learning from the training with recommendations for follow-up trainings and how to adapt the package to future trainings in and beyond Kenya and Uganda.
