Protection Monitoring Report: Poland, Lower Silesian Voivodship

Due to the escalation of the war in Ukraine, DRC in partnership with Nomada Association has been monitoring protection risks affecting the displaced population currently residing in the Lower Silesian Voivodship, Poland. This brief provides an overview of key challenges faced by the displaced population in 2023, focusing on protection risks related to access to secure accommodation, employment, documentation, social cohesion, and protection against sexual and gender-based violence. Jointly monitoring these issues is crucial in shaping services and support systems adequate to the needs of the affected population. DRC and Nomada have worked in collaboration with UNHCR Poland and the Protection Monitoring Task Force, to join efforts in data analysis and dissemination. The report will be available in Polish and Ukrainian.
