Shared value partnerships between DRC and both startups and corporates are crucial to us. How else can we help the 103 million and counting forcibly displace people globally?
Companies grow, and DRC’s beneficiaries thrive from our partnerships. And keeps us all innovative, as we have learned. Hence, IBM created a new migration patterns Forecasting tool with DRC. Grundfos created a water-access ATM system in Uganda, now scaled with the UNHRC. The Kenyan plastic recycling startup, Mr Green Africa, has steeper growth with the help of the beneficiaries whom DRC train.
Law firms get new insights now that we have joined TrustLaw, the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s global pro bono legal service. Amazon AWS has trained refugee camp-based people as Cloud service technicians with DRC. And Microsoft has assisted DRC in creating a secure file-sharing app for our Danish integration work. Arup gets insight into our global shelter designs, and DRC gets expert advise on how DRC creates circular solutions.
But this list has only begun. There is much more work to be done for the 103 million people. And DRC is always open to discussing shared value-based ideas
